I am a former Californian who transplanted to Costa Rica 2 years ago. Enjoy living the "tranquilo" life away from the hustle and bustle of city life. San Ramon is a nice small town that has everything but you can walk from one end to the other in about 15 or so! San Ramon has very friendly people and everything you need so you do not need to go into San Jose, thank goodness! I love planting trees and bushes and flowers and watching them grow, watching the properties improve every rainy season (growing season!) and watching the various Shows from my front porch: the sunsets the clouds the mountains the ocean the lightning the fog the lightning bugs the hummingbirds the butterflies the parrots the flowers the lights in the distance (Esparza) the ships out on the Gulf of Nicoya the walking sticks the walking leaf's etc etc etc.
